Victoria Beckham has been spotted studying a book on Scientology prompting rumours that she may be joining the controversial cult.

Her Hollywood friends, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are believers and Holmes pointed Posh in the direction of her new found religion.

�Assists For Illnesses and Injuries�, is based on the works of Scientology's founder L Ron Hubbard. Scientologists believe they can cure themselves using a touching technique known as �Assists�.

Holmes and Posh met up at the Rock and Republic fashion show in LA and upon learning that the Beckham�s son had been suffering from seizures recommended the book.

Romeo, 3, has been admitted to hospital twice after falling ill.
