X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato has taken to Twitter to hit out at the constant interest with her private life.
The star, who can be seen judging talent on the X Factor USA alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, posted on her Twitter page:
"I really wish we could go back in time when artists were known for their work. Not their personal lives."
Could the star be referring to the time when she was constantly linked to One Direction hottie Niall Horan despite stating that she and Niall were "just friends"?

However, her minor Twitter rant was soon forgotten about as she set about campaigning for her act CeCe Frey.
Posting a series of messages to encourage her fans to vote for the finalist, who defied Simon Cowell's predictions by making it through to another week after he told her to "pack a suitcase", Demi wrote:
"Regardless of what the other judges may say, CeCe is still in this competition for a REASON. This girl is VERY RELEVANT!!! She IS a POP STAR.
"When you are a CeCe fan, you are VERY dedicated. JUST like my Lovatics.. 😊 Another reason why I love her Warriors.." before adding:
"Calling ALL LOVATICS: I NEED YOUR SUPPORT WEDNESDAY NIGHT.... PLEASE TUNE INTO WATCH CECE FREY PERFORM ON X FACTOR!!!! THEN VOTE!!!!!!! D"
The X Factor USA returns tomorrow night. Will you be watching?
