Following her arrest for assault last week, Lindsay Lohan has reportedly denied attempts by friends to make her go to rehab, it's been reported.
The 26 year-old was charged with misdemeanor assault last week during an incident at a New York club. Both Lilo's father, Michael Lohan and her assistant have spoken out about her problems and has told followers on Twitter it's up to the star to help herself.
Michael wrote: “Nobody cam make her! Only she can... And if I cam help it... WILL.” (sic)
According to the website friends are begging the star to go to rehab before her court appearance following the charges in the hope it may carry some favour with the judge.
Sources allegedly told the website that the 'Liz & Dick' star is refusing though and doesn't think she “has a problem” pointing to her recent work, she's made three movies, as proof she's back on track.

Last week her assistant Gavin Doyle took to Twitter to urge Lindsay to “get help”.
He wrote: “@lindsaylohan after bailing you out last night I HOPE and PRAY you get the help you so desperately need. We are ALL rooting for you. Xxx”
Adding: “Life is NOT a movie it's a reality that needs to be faced.”
The actress' legal woes got worse last week as, along with the assault charges, she was charged following a Pacific Coast Highway accident in Los Angeles in June this year.
She faces three misdemeanor charges for allegedly lying to Santa Monica police. No court date has been set, The Los Angeles Times reports.
