British pop show CD:UK is crossing the Atlantic to become CD:USA in a multi-million dollar deal.

Despite having scores of music tv shows already, US TV bosses are impressed with the big stars that the UK show attracts week after week, and like its chatty format, female first have revealed today.

An insider commented: �America is full of music shows but this is the first time they have seen one which combines live performances and chat so well.�

�They are impressed that it attracts such huge names from both sides of the pond. Last week, it had Girls Alound and 50 Cent � and Madonna and Paul McCartney are still to come. The deal is being thrashed out and should be announced in around two weeks.�

�Everyone�s very excited about it � it�s a great coup.�

The UK show is currently being hosted by ex Hear�Say singer Myleene Klass and DJs Lauren Laverne and Johnny P � but it is thought that an American host will be brought in for the US version.
