We reported yesterday that 'Superman' star Henry Cavill had been evasive under questioning on the subject of whether the British actor was set to star as Christian Grey in the adaptation of E.L. James' 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
However EntertainmentWise can now reveal that the star's evasiveness must have just been bashfull Henry not wanting to rule anything in or out, as his talent reps, Creative Artists Agency have denied the rumour.
The former Tudors star, said of the role in an interview with Details magazine,"Whether that happens, that decision will be made at the time it has to be made. It would be a very different kind of thing than Man of Steel."
The star is set to become hot Hollywood property after winning the role of Superman in next year's reboot of the hero's franchise, 'Man of Steel'.
The interviewer questioning him remarked that this sounded like a man trying to stick to a Hollywood embargo, and with author James quizzing fans as to their favourite Christian on Twitter, this sparked speculation that rumours which bubbled up over the summer around Cavill may be true.
However it seems the search for a Christian to dominate Anastasia Steele will have to go on, as Henry's people have said there's no truth to the reports.
Or alternatively could this be another layer of bluff to keep the identity of the man set to play the secretive billionaire under wraps?
