The pastor of Two And A Half Men actor Angus T. Jones, who branded the show as "filth", has insisted that the teen is not having a "breakdown".
Fears for Angus surfaced after he was videoed asking people to stop watching Two And A Half Men and saying that he didn't want to be on the show - where he plays Jake Harper - anymore.
The 19-year-old said: "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching. I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it.
"Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television and especially with what you watch on television ... it's bad news."

However, his Pastor Christopher Hudson, who was seen sitting next to Jones in the video, has now told the Mail Online that the comments made by the actor came from his "sincere" heart after Jones' mum expressed her fears about her son.

He said: "I respect his mother and the love she has for her child and her need to protect him. She is concerned about his well being as are many other people. But Angus has not had a breakdown and I am not manipulating him. He said let's do an interview - and I turned on the camera.
"Angus is a very educated, thoughtful young man. What was expressed in the video was from the sincere heart of a young man."
He added: "I didn't encourage him to do anything. I turned the cameras on with a young man who had a story to tell. He's making a stand with the statements that resonate with his belief system."
However, Angus, who recently worked alongside Miley Cyrus when she made a cameo appearance on the show, has since issued an apology. According to EW.com, the actor said:
"I apologise if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."
Stating that the time of Angus' rant and his decision to book time off was just a "coincidence", a rep for Warner Bros told the publication.
"The show is in its 10th season, and the character of Jake Harper has not been as prominent in the show as in prior years. Angus was off this week and next week, by pure coincidence. By then we will be two thirds of the way through the season and he is written in for that.
"He has always been professional on set and we have a duty of care to Angus and to find out what is going on with him. I feel for the kid - this is a good kid", before adding that there were no plans for Angus to leave the show."
