Former X Factor star Rylan Clark has hinted he may appear in the upcoming series of The Only Way Is Essex.
The former talent show contestant, who is from the county, says he has a lot of friends in the area where TOWIE is filmed and hopes to appear on the ITV2 show's very first live episode when it airs on Monday.
He told omg!: "There is a live episode and I may be part of it, it could definitely happen.
"I am up for anything and I've got a lot of friends there so a week today, who knows?"
And it seems the reality show could be just the tonic for Rylan after he claimed getting the boot from the X Factor is like being released from prison.
Speaking on Xtra Factor following his exit on Sunday night, he said: "I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders; I feel like I've been let out of prison to be fair. Not in a bad way, I've loved it here."
And while he's not especially sad to be leaving the show, Rylan admitted he will miss his on-screen nemesis Gary Barlow.
He said: "I've got a lot to thank Gary for what he's done for me because we just laid the truth on the table tonight and we do get on really, really well.
"What happens in the studio stays there and he's such a good guy. It's been an absolute pleasure for him to actually see me sing let alone anything else."
