Kristen Stewart has so far avoided any questions about her affair with Rupert Sanders earlier this year, but in a recent interview admitted the attention the breakdown of her relationship with Robert Pattinson received was “destructive”.
The 22 year-old was caught kissing married director Rupert Sanders, who she worked with on 'Snow White And The Hunstman' in July and though she appears to have salvaged their three year romance, fan and media reaction, she has admitted was difficult.
Speaking to French magazine, Tele Star at the Los Angeles premiere of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2' the actress answered questions over recent speculation.
Of the attention her “love life” received this summer, she said: “If I consider the opinion of others, respect for privacy, it can be very destructive.”
K-Stew added: “I decided not to pay attention.”
While she admitted the fame she has achieved was “unsettling”, the brunette said the vampire sage had given her a “unique” tie to millions of people Kristen said: “It is unsettling, yes. But I feel more comfortable today than five years ago. And thanks to Twilight, I have a link with millions of people around the world. And this is unique!”
When photos of Kristen and Rupert were first published many believed one of Hollywood's hottest couples were over. But after a string of public dates it looks like things are as good as ever. Kristen and Rob recently spent the Thanksgiving Day holidays in London, no doubt with Rob's family, proving things are back on track for the 'Twilight' lovers.
At the time Kristen apologised publicly to her boyfriend through People magazine, she said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
