Justin Bieber Set To Be Toppled From YouTube Throne By Gangnam Style

Cult video has nearly beaten Bieber's Baby views

It looks Justin Bieber's reign over YouTube could be coming to an end as 2012 super hit 'Gangnam Style'  threatens to overtake his views record!

Bieber's hit 'Baby' has held onto the record for most views on the video sharing channel since it's release in 2010, it currently stands at just under 803 million views. However Psy's 'Gangnam Style' is creeping up on the competition with nearly 797 million views.

Six million might sound like a safe enough gap between the two hits but we're betting the Korean one man army will close the gap any day now. The Telegraph report that the song is attracting around 11 million views every day whislt Bieber's older hit sees on average just 1 million new viewers.

Psy's star power was boosted last week when royalty performed the video's famous dance move. Zara Phillips and her fellow 2012 Olympians took on the signature move for BBC's Children In Need. And they're not the only ones, everyone from Strictly's Bruce Forsyth to Madonna to Britney Spears performing the famous move!

Despite their rivalry, Psy has reportedly signed up with Justin Bieber's management company and said the pair will work on a song together in the future.

We'll be keeping an eye on the race for the YouTube crown this weekend!
