Darcey Bussell has secretly signed a two year contract to keep her on the Strictly judging panel, TV Bizz has revealed.
Following her family's relocation from Australia for Strictly Come Dancing, it seems that the former ballerina wanted her future to be more secure.
A source told The Sun: “Her first outing divided people but she has grown into the role tremendously. The other judges love her as she knows her onions.
“And producers actually think she is better than Alesha.”
Darcey is currently in a strong position if sources are to be believed. If producers sack her she is entitled to £100,000 for the second year of the deal.
But hopefully there is no sign of them firing Darcey just yet. BBC big wigs have been super impressed by the 43 year old's judging talent.
But things didn't start of so smoothly, Darcey was teased for using the word “yah” instead of “yes” in the first show and came over all hoity-toity.
However that's all in the past as the nation has well and truly warmed to the knowledgeable CBE.
Her popularity improved dramatically after she stood up to head judge Len and catty Craig.
What do you think of Darcey, are you happy to have the ballerina on the judging panel for a another year?
