Tulisa Contostavlos’ confidence as a judge on the X Factor has grown this year.
The singer joined the panel of the TV talent contest last year as a replacement for Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, who left the show for a short stint on the American version of the series.
And Tulisa claims she feels more comfortable offering her advice to the show’s contestants in her second series this year as she feels she now has less to prove.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor, she said: “I now feel like I’m judging instead of being judged”, before adding that she now feels more confident.
The star also denied rumours she kept the show’s studios open late by holding raucous parties in her dressing room.
However, if any such gatherings did take place, not all of the cast and crew would be allowed in - fellow judge Gary Barlow isn’t on her invite list.
When asked if anyone would be banned, she said: “Gary… He’d make it boring, wouldn’t he?”
