Last week saw the stars of Dancing With The Stars: All Stars miss out on elimination and as a result, two celebrities saw their journey on the hit show come to an end.
With the competition heating up, it was cool down mode for Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini who became the latest stars to be voted off the show.
Reacting to the news that she had been eliminated from the show, the Mail Online reported Kirstie telling the show's host, Tom Bergeron:
"The second time around was very special. I've learned more about dancing, believe it or not. I wanted to thank Maks, because he's so patient with me, and he’s so helpful to me. I just love dancing."
Commending her fans for their support, Kirstie added: "I feel lucky. We have the best fans in the world. The opportunity to do this a second time round is nothing short of a miracle."
Revealing how he kept Kirstie's spirits up, Maks Chmerkovskiy said: "I've said 'I love you' to Kirstie more in a week than I've said to anybody in my entire life."
Finding himself in the bottom two with Apolo Anton Ohno, it was soon announced that Giles and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd would be leaving the show."
Speaking after his elimination, Gilles said: "In the end it's just an incredible experience. I had the chance to do it twice and I tried my very best.
"Peta was an angel out there, teaching me many things. I want to thank my wife. It's been quite a challenge for the family with the job and without her, I'm really nothing."
