Christina Aguilera has finally got the critic's seal of approval with the singer and judge on The Voice's new album receiving good reviews from the music industry.
Since her epic hit album Stripped, the star has struggled to win over critics, with many music reviewers labelling her follow up album Bionic as “disappointing”, the Observer newspaper went so far as to label the album as "Christina’s Fall".
Her latest album Lotus which was released November 9th has already been followed up with the release of a deluxe version.
The album, that’s only been out a couple of days has already been branded “the rehabilitation of Christina Aguilera.”
It looks like this time Christina, 31, has pulled out all the stops to impress fans and has, collaborated with the likes of Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton .
Super cool Christina seems to be taking the success of the new album in her stride telling the Telegraph newspaper that despite all the fuss surrounding her role on the US show The Voice she doesn’t worry about it.
She said: “I go home and either be with my son or go into the studio and record my own record.”
The curvy star told the paper, “there are endless stories out there. But it’s a matter of being in this business and at the end of the day, if I’m getting to do what I love and share my message and my stories with the world, and share my voice and my gift with my fans and bring out a positive message, then so be it, right? I’ll take the bullets.”
It sounds like Christina the Fighter we know and love is back!
