Taylor Swift may be an award-winning singer, who famously has full control over all professional decisions, but the singer has spectacularly announced that she wants her next boyfriend to wear the trousers in their relationship...
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Taylor revealed what could quite possibly have been the cause of her recent split from ex boyfriend Conor Kennedy - indecisiveness.
"It needs to be equal. If I feel too much like I’m wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable and then we break up."
Looking at her previous boyfriends - which include the likes of John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal - the alpha male does seem to be a pretty big feature of her dating CV.
And, when it came to the likes of Taylor Lautner and Conor Kennedy (rumoured to be more willing to take a backseat in the decision-making), sources suggested that Taylor Swift ended things herself. Although, in the case of Lautner, her song 'Back To December' suggests that she may have regretted her decision later on...
Essentially, after a long day at the recording studio, Taylor Swift doesn't want to be burdened with the role of decision maker in her relationship:
"Relationships are the ultimate collaboration but It’s wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions, you know?"
We wonder if rumoured potential boyfriends-of-the-future Adam Young (of Owl City) and Ed Sheeran would be prepared to wear the trousers for Taylor?
