Taylor Swift has given Ed Sheeran hope of a romance in the future, after admitting she would love to date a red head and even says the tattoo he has of her album Red is "the coolest thing ever."
The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer was rumoured to have grown particularly close with Ed while recording songs together over the last few months, which was only fuelled after the 'A Team' crooner tattooed the name of Taylor's latest album on his arm.
Speaking about the brave tribute, Taylor gushed about the gesture in an interview with Alan Carr, saying: "He has a tattoo on his arm and it says Red, which is after my new album. I think that is the coolest thing ever. I love that. I mean, it's permanent."
Perhaps hinting at the status of their relationship, Taylor also said that she is attracted to ginger-haired men, meaning she may be more than friends with Ed.
"I like people with red hair, I would do a ginger. I like Rupert Grint, the guy from the 'Harry Potter' films," Taylor added.

The 22-year-old has been linked to a string of men in recent weeks, since her split from boyfriend Conor Kennedy in October, with fresh reports suggesting that she and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles are an item.
A source has claimed that Taylor invited a member of the boyband to dinner and soon after, sources came forward to allege that the man in question was Harry.
"Taylor really liked Harry and even though they weren't exclusive, he hinted at making it official with her just before he took off to Australia. He even told Taylor he didn't want her to see anybody else while he was gone!" a source told RadarOnline.
Their romance is said to have come to an end after Taylor, 22, discovered Harry had been sending flirty messages to other girls.
"Taylor had all these texts from Harry begging for a chance to explain and telling her not to believe everything she reads," a source claimed.
While the pair have never confirmed their romance, Harry recently admitted that a certain girl does have his attention.
"There's someone I like... but this girl... isn't my 'type'. It's more about the person. How they act, their body language, if they can laugh at themselves. I find ambition really attractive too - if someone's good at something they love doing. I want someone who is driven," he told Cosmopolitan magazine.
Harry and Taylor's romance appears to be speeding ahead after they were both spotted wearing matching necklaces this week.
