It was confirmed that Lucasfilms, the company behind the ever-so-popular Star Wars franchise, was sold to new owners Disney for $4 billion this week.
And while some may have been disappointed by Walt Disney's new acquisiton, news that a seventh 'Star Wars' movie would be in the pipeline for 2015 quicky softened the blow for fans.
It's expected that 'Star Wars' will be given a new lease of life under the direction of their new owners, with new plans to carry on the sci-fi saga by filming episode 7 in 2015, following it up with episodes 8 and 9 every two to three years.
No doubt Disney have taken on a massive feat. So the question is can they out do the previous six Star Wars movies? Or is that a quest too big?
