Lindsay Lohan has been posting some extremely odd tweets to her Twitter account this week - spanning everything from Hitler to Hurricane Sandy - but, thankfully, it seems as if they were the work of a hacker.
Or, at least, one of them was...
Fans were quick to criticise Lindsay Lohan for posting a senseless message about Hurricane / Superstorm Sandy, in which she implied the bad weather was the result of the public's negativity:
"WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace."
But, when LiLo posted a tweet about Hitler later on, alarm bells began ringing. Had the 'Mean Girls' actress' account been hacked?
"How does Hitler tie his shoes? from @oatmeal"
Cryptic stuff. Thankfully, Lindsay lohan was quick to jump in and reveal that, yes, her account had been hacked - but she also explained that the only tweet the intruder had sent was the Hitler one.
"My twitter was hacked, please ignore the last tweet."
Now, if we were Lindsay Lohan, we'd have taken this opportunity to distance ourselves from the Hurricane Sandy tweet too as, on the day after the storm, it was revealed that people had lost their lives to the record-breaking bad weather.
Not to mention the fact that it will cost the US millions of dollars to clear up the damage of Superstorm Sandy - in the middle of a double dip recession.
But, sadly, Lindsay Lohan chose to stand by her original post encouraging people to stop being so down-and-out about the storm... despite having the perfect get-outta-jail-free (with a hacker!) card.
Oh Lindsay.
