Kelly Osbourne picked up Cosmopolitan’s Award for Ultimate Style Icon in London last night and while she might have been only in the UK for a flying visit the TV presenter admitted she's still a true Brit at heart insisting she hadn't “turned Hollywood”.
The 28 year-old told Entertainmentwise she was only in the UK for a few days, celebrating her birthday over the weekend, before heading back to Los Angeles. But while she might live and work in Los Angeles, she hasn't been changed by the bright lights of La La Land.
“I think it's impossible,” Kelly replied when asked if she'd “turned Hollywood”.
“I don't even like the people in Hollywood,” she added.
It's not the first time the outspoken star has put Hollywood in it's place as she regularly shares her opinion on their fashion faux pas on E! Show Fashion Police. But it's not all bad, Kelly only had praise for her a list co-hosts Joan Rivers, George Kotsiopoulos and Giuliana Rancic.
“I'm lucky I'm so bloody lucky I get to work with the good ones,” she added.
Entertainmentwise spoke to one of Kelly's closest friends, The Voice star Tyler James earlier this year, who talked about their trans Atlantic friendship revealing the famous Osbourne still considers the UK home.
“Even now she says she misses England so much,” he revealed, “and this is her home”.
Kelly shined on the red carpet at the event in a slinky silver dress, but as she picked up her award admitted she hadn't always been so style minded.
She told the audience: "I used to look like s**t. I never thought I'd get a style award. Cosmo putting me on their cover a couple of years ago did wonders for my self-esteem."
Well done Kelly!
