Even though Hurricane Sandy is wreaking havoc across the state, Victoria Beckham is said to be considering a move to New York where she has plans to open a new designer store.
There had been rumours that the stylish mother-of-four was planning to uproot her family from Los Angeles to head back to the UK, but these have subsided as a source seems to have claimed that the former Spice Girl wants to head to the east coast city.
However, according to a close source the singer-turned-actor has her sights set on the Big Apple - which is hardly surprising since her Spring/Summer 2013 collection blew New York fashion week away last month.
"Everything is up for discussion at the moment. David may well choose to stay at LA Galaxy, or may leave and retire. There are big conversations to be had," a source told Grazia magazine.
A move next year would be the ideal time for Victoria and David to relocate as the footballer's contract will LA Galaxy is up for renewal in December.
"Victoria is keen to move to New York to set up her business there and open her first store. She looked at a school when she was there. There are also business opportunities for David, too," the source added.
Would the Beckhams really trade in their sunny LA lifestyle for the fast-paced sidewalks of New York?
