Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise may be living smack-bang in the centre of New York City - destined to be hit by the terrifying destructive power of Hurricane Sandy - but the duo weren't about to let a storm get them down...
Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are the latest in a list of celebs to turn their backs on the oncoming "Frankenstorm" that is Hurricane Sandy - and they had a helluva lotta fun doing so, apparently!
The ex wife of Tom Cruise and her fashionable daughter were spotted having a "happy" dinner at high-end restaurant ABC Kitchen in New York City yesterday evening, according to sources at People magazine.
And, despite the rest of the Big Apple getting ready to face the 90-mile hour winds of Hurricane Sandy, the pair seemed relaxed and happy in the calm before the storm:
"[The meal] was pretty low-key, [they were] just enjoying dinner... Suri and her friend looked happy and were having fun."
The mummy-daughter double act join the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Bette Midler in staying positive about the oncoming storm.
Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to voice her opinions about Hurricane Sandy, begging people to stay calm and stop projecting negativity:
"WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling Sally)...? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace.”
And 'Hocus Pocus' star Bette Midler also revealed that she's not too bothered about the storm - in fact, she's using it as an excuse to catch up on her baking!
“Batten down the hatches!! I’m baking macaroons for the duration. Hope it’s over before Hulaween!!!! Eeeeeeekkkk!!”
We're glad to see so many celebs being so positive as the hurricane ravages the East Coast - but we hope they take the warnings seriously and stay safe.
