Their first single ‘Wings’ stormed to the top of the UK singles chart, stamping Little Mix firmly as the UK’s hottest new girl band. Their new single ‘DNA’ is set to do just the same.
Little Mix became the first group to win The X Factor and they are returning with their second single to be taken from their debut album, set to be released on November 11.
The song is once again written by the girls along with Iain James and TMS – the hit-makers behind their number one smash hit ‘Wings.’ It is described as an exhilarating, bewitching love song with a choral middle-eight that’s as unexpected as it is brilliant.
During a behind the scenes of the making of their new video, blonde bombshell Perrie said: “This video is completely different from ‘Wings.’ I think it’s a different side to us which is really cool. It’s all a bit dark and monochrome!”
Meanwhile, Jade said: “It’s basically a love song but we’ve twisted it a bit for the video and made it into something more creepy.”
Perrie added: “The styling in this video is a bit more harsh I think and a bit more grown up, I like it.
“I enjoy everything when we do music videos, but sometimes it can be a bit nerve-racking.”
Jesy said: “I loved doing ‘Wings’ but this is definitely my favourite because I love to act and be like a different character. It makes you feel really good, I love it.
“I think we all like it when we’re all together because we just bring out a confidence in each other; we’re all much stronger as a group and when we perform together!”
In January and February, Little Mix will take to the road for their first ever headline tour, starting at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall and taking in 18 venues which will include a date at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
