Whitney Houston's mother was determined to keep her daughter's fortune from granddaughter Bobbi Kristina until she was responsible enough to spend it, but her case has now been dismissed in court.

Following Whitney Houston's tragic death back in February, the singer's mother Cissy  has been campaigning to keep her sizeable fortune from the teenager until she reaches an age when she can spend it wisely.

Today we've learned that the pair havecome to an agreement outside of court, dismissing the case.

Bobbi Kristina has received much attention in recent months following her new Lifetime show, The Houstons: On Our Own, which features her drinking heavily and documents her controversial relationship with 'brother' Nick Gordon, whom Whitney informally adopted when he was 12 years old.

According to TMZ, Cissy and Pat Houston (co-executors of Whitney's estate) had filed legal papers hoping to drastically change the way Whitney's fortune would be paid out to 19-year-old Bobbi, because they felt it was "too much, too soon."

As it stood, Bobbi was set to receive an estimated $20 million in 3 separate chunks -10% when she turns 21 ($2 mil), just under 20% at age 25 ($4 mil) and the remainder when she turns 30 ($16 mil).

Now, it appears Bobbi and Cissi have reached an agreement that leaves Whitney's original plan for the payout virtually unchanged.
