While her arch-enemy Nicki Minaj has been pounding the stage in the UK, Mariah Carey has been getting over their American Idol bust-up with a marathon massage, while watching ‘Bruno’ on repeat, according to a new report.
The ‘Fantasy’ singer reportedly paid $1,500 for an eight-hour massage and rather than falling asleep to the lull of wind chimes that you might normally find in a spa, Mariah decided that she wanted to watch Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘Bruno’.
According to Us Weekly, Mariah called a masseuse over to her LA mansion last month, and had a good ol’ rub down.
''The masseuse made $1,500. She insisted 'Bruno' play on repeat. It looped the entire time!'' a source told the magazine.
Following on from the two American Idol judges’ almighty clash during a recent audition, Mariah might have called on the masseuse for some well needed chill-out time.
Meanwhile her bosses are rubbing their hands, as a show insider has said that the programme bosses “love the drama”.
''They feel like they've struck gold,” they said. Publicly the producers have issued a statement, where they said: ''This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had.
''We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next American Idol.”
