Labrinth is on track to score his first UK number one this Sunday (October 28) with latest single 'Beneath Your Beautiful'.

The singer/songwriter teamed up with Scottish musician Emeli Sande to record the duet and the tune has climbed from 87th place to the top spot of the midweek chart since the pair performed on The X Factor on Sunday (October 21).

And Sande may be gearing up for a double celebration this weekend - her collaboration with producer Naughty Boy, 'Wonder', has charted in 10th place.

Other stars to feature in the midweek chart include electronic dance trio Swedish House Mafia, who remain in second place with 'Don't You Worry Child', and boyband JLS are this week's highest new entry, coming in third with 'Hottest Girl In The World'.

Calvin Harris and Florence Welch have slipped to fourth place with duet 'Sweet Nothing' and Rihanna's song 'Diamonds' has dropped a place, coming in fifth.

Meanwhile, country star Taylor Swift is set to top the UK album chart for the first time with disc Red.

The American singer has beaten Sande's repackaged edition of Our Version Of Events, which is in second place.

Lawson complete the top three on the album chart with their debut Chapman Square.
