Eva Longoria has reportedly split from boyfriend of just two months, Mark Sanchez with the NFL star said to be “really upset” by the end of the romance.
The couple, who had only just gone public with their relationship, were first linked in June when they were spotted on a string of dates. The Desperate Housewives star allegedly ended the affair due to their lifestyles being “incompatible” with the 25 year-old reportedly telling friends he couldn't make her happy.
"Mark says he is really upset about the break-up with Eva. He is telling friends he tried everything he could to make her happy, and to make things work between them, but they live in very different worlds," a source told the New York Post.
"The problem was Mark is very focused on football, while Eva is a busy businesswoman. She lives in Los Angeles, is doing a lot of philanthropic and political work, and is developing a number of TV shows, including the NBC dating series Ready for Love."
Mark's spokesman confirmed the split yesterday: "It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”
The NFL star was spotted out over the weekend in New York with a group of friends, with eye witnesses claiming he was getting close to a mystery blonde.
According to multiple sources the NFL star was caught at the Darby Downstairs club in New York, with a pretty blonde balancing on his lap.
“She was more up on him,” an eyewitness told the New York Daily News, “But he was into it and smiling.”
