Her immediate future on Dancing With The Stars looked in doubt when she was taken to hospital on Sunday, but it appears that DWTS All Stars contestant Melissa Rycroft followed the age old showbiz mantra of 'the show must go on' because the star was back on the show performing last night.
In scenes taken from rehearsals on Sunday, Melissa could be seen collapsing in pain after suffering a herniated disc and later twisting her neck. Recalling what happened, the Mail Online reported Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, who was also rehearsing at the time, saying: "I just heard her cry out in pain."
Despite the pain of her injuries, the former Bachelor star appeared to be back on top form, scoring an impressive 29.5 out of 30 for her routine with her team's ‘group freestyle’ performance.
Speaking about her injuries, Melissa said:
"I’m on a lot of medication right now,' she laughed, rolling her eyes. It feels really numb right now. I should be fine for next week."
Whilst Melissa appeared to be back to her best, the same couldn't be said for Kelly Monaco, who according to her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, is finding it tough on the show.
He admitted: "She’s breaking down mentally, she’s breaking down physically and her confidence is going down", whilst Kelly added: "Working all day and going to rehearsals isn’t working, the choreography is getting lost in my small little brain."
