X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has been spotted with ex-boyfriend Adam Bailey, picking up a DVD in what looked like getting ready for a cosy night in. But don't get too excited as a rep for the star has denied they are dating.
The pair split three years ago after Adam was cleared of a gangland attack, but have remained friends ever since.
Speculation hotted up on the ‘is she/isn’t she dating?’ after an exclusive interview between Tulisa and the Sunday Mirror where she revealed: “I may be dating and I’m enjoying it”.
After picking up the DVD it is reported they went back to her flat in North London and ordered Italian food. Club promoter and barman Adam, 27, was seen the next morning walking close to the area the N-Dubz star lives. The rumours began when Tulisa and Adam were seen sharing a goodbye kiss last week followed by him driving away in her £100,000 car.
In the interview with the Sunday Mirror when she was asked what she enjoyed doing when she went out on a date, she replied: “It is difficult in my position, but I’m used to it now. You don’t go out and date, you hide in a house and watch DVDs. That’s the secret.”
Tulisa and Adams relationship came to an end while Adam was facing trial in 2009 in fear that the bad publicity could ruin her career after giving evidence in the witness box at Blackfriars Crown Court to defend him, he was cleared of wounding with intent.
A spokesman for Tulisa said she and Adam were “best friends.”
"Tulisa has spoken at length about her friendship with Adam in her book. They are best friends and spend a lot of time together. They are not dating and there is no romance."
Currently favourite to win the X-Factor competition for a second time with her contestant Ella Henderson, Tulisa commented: “I love the show and the competition at the minute, I love being a mentor and I have got some great girls.”
Now maybe the perfect time for Tulisa and Adam to give their romance another go.
