She's committed quite a few fashion faux pas' in recent weeks, what with her frumpy gypsy skirts and scraped back messy hair, but last night Katie Holmes officially got her mojo back on a fashionable New York City outing.
The 33-year-old fashion designer should be taking more consideration when it comes to her public outfits of choice, seeing as she is representing her big label Holmes & Yang, and finally seemed to have got the message when she stepped out looking more stylish than ever last night.
Katie headed out to the Narcisco Rodriguez launch in the Big Apple, and could have been an extra addition to Sex And The City as she strutted her stuff to the event with a gleaming smile on her face.

The yummy mummy of daughter Suri was spotted entering the event looking fresh as a daisy in a gorgeous black shiny trench coat, later taking it off to reveal her enviable slender figure in a classic little black dress by Rodriguez from his new collection for Kohl's.
The effortlessly chic number managed to look elegantly casual and on trend at the same time with its ruching on the front, whilst the long sleeves added a touch of sophistication to the sultry dress.
Katie wore the designer dress with a nude pair of Loeffler Randall pumps that created the illusion of elongated pins as she posed with Rodriguez for some snaps at the event.

And to keep things minimal all the way, Katie kept her long brown locks in a nonchalant, natural style and opted for a natural yet luminous make-up look.
Other attendees at the launch included a dazzling Emma Roberts, who wore a colourful ensemble by Rodriguez, and a vampy looking Edie Parker.
