Katy Perry and John Mayer only had eyes for each other at the singer’s 28th birthday party this weekend, according to reports.
The ‘California Gurls’ singer is turning 28 on October 25, and to celebrate she threw herself an early costume party at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Friday night.
Us Weekly reports that Katy went dressed as a sexy vampire to the party that also had Kristen Stewart in attendance, along with renowned songwriter Diane Warren and America's Next Top Model's Johnny Wujek.
Meanwhile, Mayer is said to have rocked up in a vampire-hunter costume – complete with a prosthetic chin and nose, reports JustJared.com.
Katy reportedly asked for donations to support support the David Lynch Foundation for Transcendental Meditation instead of any birthday gifts, but the magazine reports that she only really had eyes for Mayer.
“They were in their own world. She didn’t even talk to her friends much,” an eyewitness reportedly said. “It was her and John. She’s obsessed with him. She said hello to people but then went right back to him.”
It’s been a non-stop week of celebrations for the couple as Katy and John were pictured celebrating his 35th birthday on Tuesday night in New York. They had a low-key meal at Freeman’s.
But their relationship hasn’t been all plain-sailing, as they’ve said to have split up at least twice, with the first time after John was said to have dumped Katy via an email. It looks as though the couple are putting any rumours to bed.
