Keith Lemon, host of the hit comedy show Celebrity Juice, has revealed he would love for Cheryl Cole or Dannii Minogue to join as the new team captain for the next series when Fearne Cotton leaves on maternity.
The comedian, whose real name is Leigh Francis, has revealed that when Fearne takes her maternity leave, there will need to be a new team captain on the show alongside This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby.
Fearne made the announcement that she was expecting with her rocker beau Jesse Wood last August writing on her blog: "Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby.
"We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival."
Speaking to The Sun, Keith revealed: "Fearne's having a break from the next series, about a year I think, and there are a few names touting around to replace her.
"Cheryl Cole would be great but I don't think that will happen. And Dannii Minogue would be good."
The presenter realised, however, that he may not be able to get his ideal stars on the show and admitted there are other hopefuls.
“Nicole Scherzinger would be great, too, but I don't want to jinx it. I know Kimberley Walsh though – and Davina McCall. We'll have to see.
“But I would like Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow on the show,” he added.
Although he wishes to steal the judging panel of the show, Keith has admitted he's a huge fan of X Factor.
"I love the X Factor, though. I throw my pyjamas on and watch it. Ella is the best. If she doesn't win, I'll chop my c**k off and throw it away."
