We get the impression that Robert Pattinson isn't looking forward to promoting the final instalment of the 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' as the actor looked pretty glum as he touched down in Australia to kick off a month long global tour as the vampire franchise comes to an end.
The 26 year-old arrived down under after leaving his recently reconciled girlfriend Kristen Stewart in Los Angeles and didn't look too pleased about it, looking dishevelled and moody as he boarded the flight at LAX and even more so as he arrived in Sydney. Rob wasn't in the mood for a chat and reportedly stormed past waiting photographers.
The star reserved smiles for 'Twilight' fans only at an exclusive fan event in the city though still appeared awkward on the red carpet, according to the MailOnline.
Perhaps he was worried about what his girlfriend was getting up to? Rob has only recently forgiven Kristen for her fling with married director Rupert Sanders earlier this year. The couple have been spotted out together on a string of dates in recent weeks,but can he forgive her?
Sources claim the star is struggling to trust the pretty brunette again.
"The problem is he can’t forget her infidelity. Kristen claims that she never actually slept with Rupert Sanders, but Robert still has that nagging feeling of doubt that she did,” an insider told RadarOnline.
“It’s too early for him to fully accept that they’re an item again, but Kristen is pushing for them to go back to how they were.”
The source explained: “But the truth is, she’s going to have to take it slowly with Robert because he’s still having trouble trusting her again.
“For him to carry on like nothing happened is very hard. Kristen is eternally sorry for cheating on him and he has forgiven her -- kind of.”
But is his surly appearance a sign Rob is sick of the whole fame game? After such intense interest in his personal life, the actor seems even more awkward in the spotlight and having his girlfriend so publicly humiliate can't have helped.
