Selena Gomez is usually preened to perfection posing on a red carpet, but the young star opted to go out this week make-up free.
The Wizards Of Waverley Place actress was photographed leaving the Steven Speilberg Pediatric Centre in Beverley Hills, California.
The 20-year-old stepped out of the centre wearing a loose fitting white blouse paired with grey leggings and brown, chunky boots- which is a noticeable change from her usual glamorous choices. However, donning her glasses and with her tousled hair down, the relaxed look made a welcome change.
The teen star, who is dating Justin Bieber, was allegedly at the research centre, which focuses on medical genetics, to discuss an upcoming fundraising event.
Selena is one of countless celebrities to share her support for injured Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by a Taliban member when she was on her way home from school.
Selena posted a link to the young Pakistani girl's story via her twitter page, where she used the hash tag to a campaign to raise awareness of the tragic story.
She tweeted: "Please honour Malala Yousafzai by spreading her message of children's rights to an education #StandWithMalala"
She also posted that she wishes her a "Speedy recovery" and that Malala is a "Symbol of strength."
