Dina Lohan has weighed in on the fresh drama between her daughter Lindsay and ex-husband Michael.
She says that his attempts to stage an intervention for LiLo were nothing more than an attempt to make himself relevant in the press again.
He claimed that she was on drugs and needed to be sent to rehab, but she insisted that she was completely clean.
Dina told TMZ: "It's all about her father obsessed with making a name for himself in the news once again.
"It's sad and I hope he stops masquerading as her father in public and starts acting like one in private."
Dina has not spoken out publicly since police were called to her house following an explosive arguement with Lindsay over money.
