According to online whispers, popstar lovebirds Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards will be going head-to-head in a chart showdown next month.
Zayn's One Direction are thought to be releasing their new single 'Little Things' on November 12 - the same day that Little Mix debut their new cut 'DNA', according to Popjustice.
The boyband have yet to officially confirm the release date of their tune, but if it is bought out a week earlier than suggested (November 5) then they will face a totally different war - as that's the same week that rivals The Wanted will bring out their new song 'I Found You'.
However, if 'Little Things' is released on November 12, its performance could be affected by the fact that its parent album Take Me Home is out on the same day.

Little Mix, meanwhile, are saving their first full-length record until the following week (November 19).
November will be stuffed full of chart battles. Girls Aloud, Olly Murs, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson and McFly are all releasing new singles on November 18, and they're ALL also bringing out new albums on November 26.
As if that wasn't enough, Tulisa's The Female Boss will also be joining in the latter chart race.
Little Mix's album will face Susan Boyle and Rihanna, whilst 1D's Take Me Home is up against new records from Christina Aguilera, Green Day, Kanye West & Jay-Z, The Rolling Stones, Steps and StooShe.
It's going to be a busy month!
Entertainmentwise have contacted a rep for One Direction to confirm the release date of 'Little Things', but are awaiting a response.
