Kristen Stewart was promised to sit down for fan questions for a 30-minute webchat for Balenciaga on Thursday but, the awkward interview in which she was asked questions by her loyal fans was cut short when she announced that it was finished.
The ‘Twilight’ actress was there to promote the design house’s Florabotanica perfume, which the 22-year-old says smells like “danger” and quite “fresh”.
Admittedly following the cheating scandal that she caused when was pictured kissing director Rupert Sanders this summer, it’s hardly surprising that the notoriously guarded actress looked a little uncomfortable during the web chat.
According to reports, over 5,000 questions were submitted for the ‘Twilight’ actress and they touched on Robert Pattinson, music, and other random questions from K-Stew fans but French fashion editor Virginie Mouzat stuck to the topic promised, the perfume.
When asked about her thoughts on the fragrance, Kristen said: “Luckily, I like the smell of the fragrances, so I don’t have to lie about that.”
Of the three words that she would use to describe the scent, and the ‘On The Road’ star said: "That is a tough one. I think, uh, dangerous, definitely. Danger. It is super French, and I think maybe uh, I don't know. It's fresh as well. One thing about fragrances, you can start to smell like an old lady, fake or like a chemical. I don't get that, so maybe fresh and French."
Kristen also was asked how she would describe its personality, if it was a person.
"You need to be an individual in order to ... there's a fearlessness to it. I don't want to say in your face, but it's definitely not to be denied. ... It's present. Somebody who's willing to let their face hang out."
Then pressed if she was talking about herself, she said: "Damn right. I mean, I hope so."
Reports suggest that the chat ended in just over 15 minutes, half the time promised despite the 5,000 questions, Kristen said: "I'm sorry we couldn't fill a whole half hour. I'm really sorry."
Well, sorry seemed to have worked for Rob.
