Gerard Butler didn't get an invite to the wedding of close friend Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake but that hasn't stopped the actor gushing about how happy he is for the bride to be.
Despite becoming close friends on the set of new rom-com 'Playing For Keeps' the Scot didn't make it onto the guest list for her big day this weekend in Southern Italy, but clearly there are no hard feelings as the 42 year-old claims the couple are "great" and that he's "happy" for Jess.
"I'm very excited for her," Butler said at the première for surfer movie 'Chasking Mavericks' referring to the big day.
"I know Justin," he revealed. "He's a good dude. He's a great guy. Great guy and she's an exceptional woman. I'm very happy for her."
"She's amazing," he insisted as he gushed about working with the stunning actress.
"She's such a joy to work with. You have to be patient to work with me and she's patient. Her performance was incredible. Her comedy, her humanity, her warmth and just her talent. She's a great girl."
We're glad we're not the only ones missing out on the couple's wedding bash. Celebrations kicked off earlier this week with a pre-wedding party on a beach near the Italian city of Naples while guests were treated to lunch yesterday at a scenic tourist spot by the couple.
They are reportedly tying the knot over the weekend, with sources claiming the lavish occassion could cost over $6 million.
