The show became a staple in our TV schedules and made the likes of James Corden a household name and now it appears that the hit show, Gavin And Stacey, is making it's way over the pond to the USA.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX have requested a script of the BBC show, which also stared Ruth Jones and Joanna Page, and will focus on the lives of the characters as they try to juggle their relationships with their families.
Whilst James Corden and Ruth Jones played the key characters in the UK show, it is believed that the duo, who also wrote for the show won't be appearing on screen, instead they will take on the role of executive producers.
It is believed that the pilot episode will see Corden and Jones receive £20,000 each and £175,000 each if the network decides to run a whole season, and that's not the end of it as the duo could net even more if the show takes off and FOX buy another series.
Off the reports that Corden and Jones could end up netting £5 million, a source told The Sun:
"If it takes off as everyone hopes, they can sit back and watch the money coming in.”
We'd love to see what the US makes of the show!
It's James and Matthew!
