She's been all smiles ever since Chris Brown dumped his two year model girlfriend Karrueche Tran for her, but Rihanna struggled to crack a grin as she headed to the recording studio dressed down, following a reported argument between the pair.
RiRi was feeling sexy earlier in the week when she stepped out in a skintight grey knit dress to work on her music in West Hollywood with a beaming smile, but last night the singer kept herself to herself as she eschewed the paps and stuck to business.
The 'We Found Love' hitmaker looked solemn as she wore a baggy pair of camouflage trousers teamed with a black baseball T-shirt and a pair of high top black sneakers.
And Rihanna couldn't be bothered with doing her hair for the occasion, popping on a black beanie to hide her untouched raven cropped hair. She tried to add a bit of a glam with a vintage Chanel shoulder bag, but seemed to be going make-up free.

It seems as though things aren't going well for the newly reconciled Chris Brown and Rihanna since the former's break-up, with the Bajan beauty reportedly not wanting to announce their exclusiveness until after the release of her album.
But the pair apparently had a bust up earlier this week due to Brown wanting to spend time with his friends instead of her, with a source telling MediaTakeOut: "Rihanna is under a lot of stress [with her new album] and she wants [Chris] with her all the time. But Chris has his own stuff to do.''
"[Rihanna] is very extra. She orders him around like 'come here' . . . 'do this!''
''That s--- used to work before [when Chris and Rihanna were together], but Chris is a lot older. He's a man and so you can't do him like that anymore," the source continued.
Meanwhile, RiRi has been promoting her new album, Unapologetic, on her Twitter profile, with thoughtful lyrics presumably to do with her relationship with Chris. She wrote: ''As long as we got each other, die in the moment #UNAPOLOGETIC''
