McFly have recently unveiled their brand new book 'Unsaid Things' and with the book, comes all of the personal goss that fans have been dying to know for years, including all the deetails about Tom Fletcher's 'dieting obsession', with the star claiming that at one stage 'he would just consume 450 calories a day'.
The book includes Tom explaining that he'd 'convinced himself that he was the 'fat' one in the band, even going as far as simply consuming a blueberry muffin and a coffee from Starbucks every day in a bid to get as slim as the other Mcfly boys.
"I wanted to lose weight, but rather than going about it the sensible way, I pretty much stopped eating," reveals Tom, 27, who is now fit and well.
"Not only would I beat myself up internally if I consumed anything else, I'd be in a foul mood if we were working somewhere there was no Starbucks."
And the newly married star has even gone as far as to say that he thinks it was his eating disorder that drove him back into the slippery slopes of depression, an illness that he'd already suffered five years ago.
His doctor diagnosed him with bipolar disorder and he was referred to a specialist at rehab clinic The Priory, where he managed to stabilise his condition.
"I hated everything. I'd never been the most sociable of people, but now I felt more anti-social than ever," Tom explains in the group's autobiography.
Adding, "The truth is, I'd have done almost anything to rid myself of the depressions."
We're glad you're healthy now, Tom!
The band recently spoke to Entertainmentwise about their 'wild past', even giving One Direction some cheeky advice, telling them 'to read the book and not do anything they did'.
And if that doesn't encourage you to buy Mcfly's 'Unsaid Things', we don't know what will...enjoy!
