Jennifer Hudson Says American Idol Feud Between Mariah Carey And Nicki Minaj Is 'Total Bull C**p'

The former contestant says that their fight is 'just for ratings'

Jennifer Hudson definitely knows a thing or two about American Idol, so it comes as no surprise that the former contestant has an opinion on the whole 'Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj feud', saying that 'she doesn't believe it'.

Jennifer isn't just a former contestant, but has also performed and appeared on the show multiple times over the years, so she should be able to tell whether or not an alleged 'feud' is real or not, right?

"I don't believe it," Hudson told TMZ.

Adding, "I think it's just for ratings for the show."

But, Mariah and Nicki's 'almighty row' has to be just 'all talk', according to experts who have said that if Nicki Minaj DID decide to walk away from the show, she could be sued. Uh-ohh!

FOX News reports Dariush Adli, President of Adli Law Group P.C. as saying: "The short answer is yes. FOX will not be able to force either Minaj or Carey to stick with the program against their will."

"She (Mariah) can claim a legitimate concern about her safety or at least an inability to fully focus on her role as a judge as a result of this threat."

However, Nicki might not be able to escape so easily, Adli continued: "Minaj, on the other hand, will likely face a lawsuit if she quits the program for having brought on the outcome. In fact, if they both quit, Minaj will likely be sued on both contracts.”

In fact, Nicki might not be given the chance to quit as Adli went on to explain that Nicki could be axed.

"Celebrity contracts typically include what is commonly referred to as ‘morals clauses’ or ‘responsible conduct clauses.’ These clauses recognize the potential negative effects that a celebrity's on or off camera activities can have on the program with which the celebrity is associated."

“Morals clauses give the program the contractual right to terminate a celebrity contract in the event the celebrity engages in certain offending conduct or behaves in a manner that would reflect negatively on the individual's character, and, by association, that of the program with which the celebrity is associated with.”

Looks like you're going to have to get along then, ladies...
