Hollywood trainwreck Lindsay Lohan is set to sit down for a tell-all interview with Barbara Walters it has been reported and with an interesting few years of run-ins with the law, family drama and addiction battles it's set to be a pretty explosive chat.
The actress, who recently was embroiled in a fight with her mother Dina, following a late night partying in New York is set to sit down with Walters, who according to TMZ has been close to the star for years, to discuss her upcoming role in Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick.
The 26 year-old is said to have avoided sit down interviews due to her explosive personal life, though sources have claimed Walters has promised not to go too far with the actress set to sit down with the veteran TV presenter over the next few weeks.
The announcement comes as her family troubles continue, with father Michael Lohan claiming he is upset by the “bad influences” around his daughter. In an email to the New York Post he wrote: “I am very upset with the crowd around Lindsay,”
“My advice to ALL the negative influences in Lindsay and my other children’s lives is, this time, you have crossed the line and bitten off a lot more than you can chew! My family will not be subject to your misguided morals and ways!”
He added: “There WILL BE changes!! Just watch.”
The threats may refer to his ex wife Dina, who he has accused of manipulating Lindsay, claiming she is a danger to the fragile star.
The 'Mean Girls' star has however come out in defence of her mother following an argument in New York, where a call Lindsay made to her father was leaked to the press. She told TMZ: "I told my dad a really hurtful and untruthful lie about my mom. She was not on cocaine."
"[He] doesn't know what it means to be a father. He doesn't want to be a dad." Referring to Michael taping and leaking the phone call she said she was “done” with him “forever”.
