Sid Owen has had a turbulent love life to say the least, splitting from his fiance of 6 years, actress Polly Parsons, in April 2012.
But things might finally be looking up for the Strictly Come Dancing star who was seen getting cosey with model Laura Garner earlier this week.
Sid, 40, showed off his companion at the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal show at London’s O2 arena – and ended up giving her a piggyback. The two were also spotted kissing, holding hands and were laughing and joking, according to The People.
Sid had his arm around Laura all evening then took the beauty to supper. An onlooker of the Friday night date said: “Sid was having the time of his life with this girl in her 20s. He seemed really into her and was showing off his dance moves. They were laughing a lot then went to get food. They couldn’t stop kissing.
“Going to the taxi they were giggling and she jumped on his back before Sid whisked her away.”

Model Laura tweeted Sid last month asking: “How’s your dancing coming along, twinkle toes?” He replied: “Boo...xxx”
Sid became a household name for playing the long-suffering Ricky Butcher in EastEnders since 1988. Even Sid’s dance partner Ola Jordan, 30, is trying to find love for her 40-year-old dance partner: “I hope he gets a nice girlfriend. I want to set him up with one of my Polish friends.”
