Could romance be in the air over at the Strictly studios? Olympic gymnast and he of the host bod Louis Smith has admitted to having a huge crush on the gorgeous Kimberley Walsh. Don't get too excited though as the Girls Aloud star's boyfriend has reportedly warned Louis to stay away from his lady!
Lovely Louis is newly single after dumping girlfriend Chantelle Hole right before he started Strictly. He insisted to The Sun at the time that his relationship was nothing more than a casual fling before adding that he hoped to use the BBC show as a platform for his flirting:
“Chantelle and I are friends now. And I am single and free to talk to, text and meet other women – like Kimberley Walsh, who is beautiful.”
“Before I met Kimberley I was like, ‘Oh my God, Kimberley from Girls Aloud!’ “But now we’re on the same show, we get on well. We’re like mates."
"The show is brilliant because if you stick me in front of a camera I’m confident. But I do get shy when I’m talking to good-looking women. I need more practise."
Now it's emerged that Kimberley's long-term love Justin Scott isn't too happy with Louis' gushing comments, a source has tols Star magazine:
“Justin trusts Kimberley 100%, but he just doesn’t like the idea of another hunky bloke trying it on with her.”
The insider added: “Justin thinks Louis should back off. He’s used to Kimberley having males fancy her, but she’s working so closely with Louis.”
Previous Strictly series have seen romances blossom on the dancefloor with Kara Tointon still happily loved up with her Strictly pro Artem Chigvintsev two years after they lifted the Glitterball trophy.
We reckon poor Louis will have to stick to admiring Kim and her skimpy leotards from afar though...
