Rumours that Pippa Middleton might make a permanent move to the US were rife earlier this year following her awful drama with the 'gun-wielding' pal in Paris, but her relocation plans have probably been put on hold as her new book fails to grab any attention.
The 29-year-old will not be heading across the pond to do a tour of the US to promote Celebrate, with Viking Press, and this is causing a few problems, according to RadarOnline.
Kate's little sister has reportedly been offered several exciting deals to appear on TV for interview, but now that she's not heading over, no one really wants to know about the book because it's "worthless".
A source told the website that Viking Press are having trouble with promoting the party-planning book.
“Viking Press are in a bit of a pickle with publicity for Pippa’s long-awaited book,” a source said. “They have tried to get Celebrate serialized in the States – but no one is interested in that – they just want a piece of Pippa!
“She’s garnered so much attention overseas since appearing at Kate’s wedding and America just loves the British royal family.
“When it was initially announced that Pippa was coming over for a tour, media outlets were very keen to speak with her and discuss the book. Now she’s not, they’re not so keen – and without an interview a serialization appears worthless."
The source continued: “It’s unfortunate because Pippa would have been able to step out the shadow of her sister and could have made a hell of a lot of money with TV opportunities aplenty. “Now you have to wonder if Celebrate will be a success at all," the source said.
It's has previously been reported that Pippa's book tour was pushed back because of Kate's recent topless scandal. Advisers were worried that Pippa would be asked lots of questions about the royal couple.
