Gary Barlow And Louis Walsh 'Agree To Disagree' Over Carolynne Poole Deadlock Scandal

Louis admits in diary entry

Phew! It looks like there won't be any awkward silences between Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow on this weekend's X Factor as Louis has confirmed that the pair have come to an agreement about the show.

Having stormed off after Louis Walsh decided to send the decision over whether to send Carolynne Poole or Rylan Clark home, to deadlock, reports have since claimed that the two judges are no longer talking.

However, that doesn't appear to be the case after the judge wrote in an open diary, published by the Mail Online:

"Gary and I agree to disagree. We also agree it has to be about the talent, not about being controversial. Other shows are just jealous."

Comparing the show to premiership football, the veteran judge added: "We are the biggest. We’re the Manchester United of television. People are always trying to knock us."

The judge also denied that he was told what to do when he was spotted talking to producer Richard Holloway.

He said: "I wake up to find a huge fuss brewing. People are Tweeting that last night was a fix, and a picture is published showing Richard talking to me. The story is that he’s telling me how to vote — but that’s not true. No one has one ever told us what to do."

We're glad the judging duo have settled their dispute.
