Miley Cyrus must be knee-deep busy in preparations for her musical comeback, not to mention her wedding to actor Liam Hemsworth, but now one burden has been taken off her shoulders as the man who entered her property last month has finally been convicted of trespassing.

TMZ reports that a court yesterday found Jason Luis Rivera guilty of invading the 19-year-old singer and actress’ house in Los Angeles and of resisting arrest.

In September, the man jumped the house’s fence and ran around the garden, reportedly carrying scissors. He claimed the reason for his intrusion was because he wanted to see the star.

Jason Luis Rivera first pleaded not guilty to the charges but the judge set his bail at $100,000 and forbid him to come within 500 yards of the popstar.

Well that’s one good news for Miley who is also currently working on her new album.

She told ET Online recently: "I'm excited for next year when hopefully my record's done and people are hearing my tunes and digging it."

"I've waited two years to put out a record, so I really want that first thing that I say to be something really important."
