Kelly Clarkson has said that she plans to marry boyfriend Brandon Blackstock in the future, and knew he was The One when they first met.
The hitmaker, who debuted her new single 'Catch My Breath' yesterday (October 10), met the tour manager years ago, but he was in a relationship at the time.
She told Ryan Seacrest: "We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me and I was like, 'Oh, we're so getting married' - I was so that girl.
"When he became single, I was on the prowl."
The star credited Blackstock with making her feel more comfortable both as a person and as a musician.
"Once you finally fall in love with someone and you are so comfortable with them, it makes you more comfortable in your skin," she said. "It makes you comfortable as an artist and it makes you more confident. I'm completely head over heels for him, he knows that."
What about marriage?
"We're taking it slow, and we're enjoying each other," she revealed. "I'm from a family of broken marriages, but we will definitely break that trend one day."
