Nelly, the rapper behind early 2000s hits like 'Hot In Herre' and 'Country Grammar' was reportedly detained last night while police searched his tour bus, eventually finding heroin and a loaded gun.
The gossip site TMZ reports that police sources told how the rapper's bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca and a police dog detected drugs.
The website states that cops pulled the bus over, performed a search and found 36 small bags of heroin (just over half an ounce) and over ten pounds of marijuana inside duffel bag, a collosal amount so big you could use it as a pillow.
A loaded .45 caliber pistol was also reportedly found.
Seven people were on Nelly's bus at the time, with the rapper present. All were detained during the search.
The rapper wasn't arrested in the end though, as according to the police sources one of the passengers, Brian Keith Jones, admitted that the drugs and gun were his.
He was then arrested while the other six, including the 'Dilemma' star, were let go.
