Brad Pitt has given an interview to, uh, Interview, in which he says that his family have as much influence over his professional life as they do over his personal life.

Speaking to Guy Ritchie, who directed him in 'Snatch', the star said that his choice of roles is influenced by the legacy he will leave for his children.

He said: "I want it to be worthy enough of a story to leave the family, you know? They’re everything.

"The family is first… I also don’t want to embarrass them."

On his future career, the actor admitted: "I’d rather be behind the camera."

But don't panic - he still feels "pretty damn solid" about his acting work.

Brad is currently engaged to Angelina Jolie. It will be his second marriage, following his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

Jen has also recently become engaged, and was spotted out yesterday wearing her engagement ring.
