Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton reveals it's going from bad to worse with ex-fiancé Alex Reid whom she accuses of trying to 'bring her down' after he asked for a DNA test.
We thought Chantelle was finally set for a fresh start as she moved out of the Essex house she once shared with ex-fiancé Alex Reid early last week. But it seems that the former cagefighter won't stop haunting her.
In her latest New! magazine column, Chantelle Houghton wrote: “I feel like Alex is trying to bring me down at the moment. He's trying to make me out to be something I'm not.”
The 27-year-old confessed she was left confused after Alex made a bizarre request: “He said last week he’s prepared to have a DNA test to prove Dolly is his, but no one had ever heard any 'rumours' saying she wasn’t!”
In the column, she also gaves her opinion about her ex-fiance's strange habit of dressing up as a woman, which was said to be the reason for their split-up a few weeks ago: “I believe Alex has no control over his cross-dressing. Alex is two different people. He’s Roxanne and he’s Alex.”
Despite all the trouble Alex is putting her through, Chantelle is determined to set the record straight, denying she changed the locks of her house.
The speculations arose last week after Alex Reid's keys failed to work last week: “I haven’t changed the locks like it was reported. Whenever I’m home alone I just put the key in the lock on the inside. I knew Alex was coming last week, but I didn’t have a clue what time.
“Despite what’s going on between us, I will never stop Dolly from seeing her dad […] We’re trying to arrange set times for him to visit Dolly twice a week.”
